I competed in the Malaysia Freediving Pool Games (MFPG) held in Penang, going in with a mix of excitement and nerves. Training leading up to the event was encouraging — consistently beyond the previous national record of 119m, with several dives at 125m and up to 139m. While I didn’t secure the official national record as it was later surpassed by another athlete, I’m grateful to have broken the previous mark at 125m under competition conditions. A meaningful milestone, and an important step in my journey.
